LASRA history
The Latin American Society of Regional Anesthesia (LASRA) was founded by anesthesiologists committed to education and evidence-based regional techniques, with the goal of professionalizing and promoting their safe use throughout the region.
2005
First in-person regional congress, with delegations from more than eight countries.
2014
Ultrasonography adopted as a core component of training programs.
2020
Virtual format launched for the annual congress during the health emergency.
